mike hawkins – the blog

I never got the hang of this blogging thing – always lost interest after making everything a bit too rigid and complicated.  This then is an attempt to have a blog that is as simple as possible, that might keep me interested and hopefully will have a bit of content that someone else might find of interest.

What is this site going to have on it? Not sure but probably:

• News items that catch my eye because of their importance, curiosity or oddity
• Historical snippets, mainly regarding key events of the 20th. century
• Technological articles, mainly relating to computing
• Photography related items
• Amusing things that make me laugh

Simply a range of  ramblings that I want to share.

So here we go.  I've scrapped the lot and started again.
