Knot Exactly
Artists Ellen Burroughs and Sophie Axford-Hawkins are opening their first collaborative exhibition - Knot Exactly - in London on 27th August 2009. A unique amalgam of intricate drawings, and stunning jewellery - their work will be on display until the 2nd September.
These exciting young talents are set to establish themselves as leading lights in their respective mediums. Knot Exactly provides a unique chance, to be some of the first, to take pleasure in their work.
The event takes place at the intimate and very successful Hepsibah Gallery - the perfect environment and ambience for an exhibition of this type.

Tensions have mounted here in Marthon, as the news of another Royal Visit has now been confirmed. Coinciding with the Circuit des Remparts, their arrival - for the fourth time - cements Anglo-French relations in a way nothing else can. Local bars are stocking up on Camomile, sales of BBC and Riley memorabilia have soared and a Union Jack cannot be found for 'love nor money'.
Poor old Sir David - probably one of the greatest television communicators of all time - deservedly gets a species named after him. But it is not the most pre-possessing example of nature’s creativity.

I am lost for words at this total disregard for the status of women.

What I find 'shocking' about this is that anyone would be stupid enough to SMS whilst driving!
It had truly, never, occurred to me that this was a problem - though it is now apparent that it is.
It wouldn't be a problem, of course, if the 'people' who did this only killed themselves - that would simply be natural selection - but of course that would be a perfect world. It says something about the driving test process - that it doesn't weed out the very thick indeed.
It is a pity too that the texting dummies won't be able to read my comments or any news item regarding this topic.
There is a little more on the matter, looking at to what degree the act of texting whilst driving actually impairs ability - here.
