Over the next few days the thinking out loud website will be undergoing a significant update - this shouldn't affect avalibility too much and should be completed by Tuesday at latest.
The look and feel of the site will not change much - if at all - in tterms of user experience. Behind the scenes, however, there will be significant rationalisation improvementt. Emphasis will shift to a more organised, structured approach to arranging content. With the Forum structure being cut down to more easily navigable headings, and more emphasis being placed on Blog content.
Additionally the image gallery is being transferred away from using Coppermine - and switching to Gallery 3 from Menalto. Whilst still only in Beta, testing has shown it to be pretty stable and and sufficiently powerfull for the needs of this site.
Very tragic – and my condolences to the family and friends of this poor lad. Saint-Estèphe is close to us – and one of our favourite places - I know that we’ll think about this tragedy and pay our respects whenever we visit in the future.

I'm not sure that the correct problem is being highlighted here. To me a shorter headline would address a much more fundamental issue - I suggest that the various groups involved in these matters look at "Too Many Young Offenders".Read more
